Malory Smith was the kitchen designer who oversaw the renovation of my kitchen, sunroom,
bathroom, home office and a few other things along the way. She was first recommended to me by an
interior designer I had known for years, but the comment of a friend of mine for whom Malory had
worked summed up her talents: Malory has a good eye and you can trust her. She listens and then
makes recommendations. For example, when we first began working together, she recommended
framed kitchen cabinet fronts. I insisted I wanted plain fronts, Malory listened, then explained framed
cabinets front would draw your eye upward, making our tiny kitchen look larger. Since my husband
agreed with her, I went with her recommendation and she was right. Out 9x12-foot kitchen looks
absolutely spacious. Throughout the entire project, my husband Dave and I enjoyed working with
Malory, especially her direct and honest nature. When it comes to cost, she’d tell us what we could
save money on, what was worth paying for and what were our choices. I can’t imagine doing a project
like this without Malory’s sanity-saving presence and guidance. By the way, our kitchen, sunroom,
bathroom, laundry room and home office all look and work great. What could be better? We got to
know Malory, got great living spaces and even saved some money. What a deal!

Working with Greenwood Cabinets and Stone, in the remodel of my kitchen and bath, was such a
great experience. I have worked with other cabinet companies but never had the service and the full
attention that Neil Maday and his group of people afforded me. Neil, from the first time I met him at
the store, impressed me with his knowledge of cabinets, granite, back splash treatments, lighting,
appliances, and anything else that I had a question about. He always listened to my ideas, making
suggestions only when he could help me make a more informed decision. The drawings of the
remodel were spot on. He had wonderful ideas and everything fit perfectly. Keeping my budget in
mind, he drove me all over the Denver area helping me pick out granite, back splash material, lighting
fixtures, plumbing fixtures and giving me suggestions on where to look for appliances and even ideas
on painting and other services that I needed to complete my project. The crew was always at the job
on the day and time that had been scheduled. Neil has gathered a crew of specialists in their
particular area of work, able to solve problems that arise with efficiency, ending in a beautiful
outcome. Even after completion of the job every question I had was always taken care of. I enjoyed
having them in my home. Thanks to the group at Greenwood Cabinets and Stone, I’m now enjoying a
beautiful kitchen and bath.

In April 2009, I began working with Neil to redesign my kitchen. He was an absolute pleasure to work
with. He listened to my ideas and desires and then thoughtfully and meticulously created a design that
would meet my budget parameters. We then reviewed the design and made modifications that
provided further enhancements. He patiently took time to answer my questions and discuss my
needs. He continued to re-enforce the fact that it was “my” kitchen and had to work for me. He was
excellent with follow-up and follow through and kept me informed every step of the way. He also
worked with me regarding the selection of plumbing, granite, and appliances. I cannot say enough
about his customer focus….it is superior. The installers were excellent…professional, particular and
focused to ensure a perfect installation. The day the installation began, Neil arrived to meet them,
reviewed the plans, and inspected the cabinets. When the installation was complete, he came for a
final inspection to ensure that everything was perfect. It was! I am thrilled with my new kitchen.

Our kitchen was an addition done in the 1940’s to our 106 year old Victorian house. It had a poor
layout that didn't utilize the space very well. We had been struggling with the best new layout. Neil
came up with the ideal solution for the space and we love how it turned out. He was very helpful
throughout the entire process and made recommendations of quality products and finishes that were
sensitive to our budget. We've had so many people tell us they love our new cabinets and we love
them too. He also provided a recommendation for Brandon and Tim for installation. They were
thorough, stayed within our budget, and did the work themselves verses subcontracting it out. We’re
extremely pleased with the high quality of work. They mapped out a schedule and stuck to it, getting
the job done as swiftly as possible. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered that at times
their standards for quality were even higher than our own. The overall team of Neil, Brandon and Tim
were terrific to work with. We highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat.
